A yourOS app
Imago.
Point at any part of a picture and say what should change. Every change is a new version, so you can go back to any of them and carry on from there. Nothing is ever lost.
Tell me what’s not right. I’ll keep every version.
Working demo
Have a go.
Pick what should change and make a new version. Then tap an earlier version on the path and take it somewhere else: it grows a new branch, and nothing you made is lost.
Path
Every version, kept.
Each change makes a new version and leaves the last one exactly as it was. Go back to any of them and carry on: the new work grows as a branch of its own.
Version 8 · 14:20 · Golden hour
You said “A fox in the grass, watching the water.”
A fox, watching the water. It feels like a story now.
Look back
Bring back just the part you miss.
Hold the lens over any part of the picture to see it as it was. Turn the ring round it to go back through the versions. Like the moon from the night one? Bring in just the moon.

Takes
Four takes. Keep the one you love.
Not sure how it should look? Ask for takes: the same changes made four ways, or the same picture in styles you hadn’t thought of. Pick one and it becomes the next version. The others stay on the path, so you can change your mind.
The same picture, in four styles
The photo as it is · watercolour · black-and-white film · a travel poster
Same place, new eyes. I’d frame the watercolour.
Wherever it comes from
In a chat, beside a job, or on its own.
Your agents make pictures wherever you ask: in a chat, as part of a job, or anywhere in yourOS. Every one of them opens in Imago, and comes back to where it was asked for.
Ask Roxy for a picture in Kin and it arrives as an ordinary picture. Tap Edit and it opens in Imago.
Can you make a picture for the cabin weekend? A cabin by a lake at dusk.
Here’s a first take. Tap any part you’d change.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
The short answers to what people ask us most.
What is Imago?
Imago is where you change the pictures your agents make. Point at any part of a picture and say what should change, and it makes a new version. Every version is kept, so you can go back to any of them and carry on from there. We’re building it now.
What happens to the version I had before?
Nothing. A change always makes a new version and leaves the last one exactly as it was. Go back to an earlier version and change it, and the new work grows as a branch of its own beside the others.
Can I change more than one thing at once?
Yes. Point at as many parts as you like and say what each should be, and they all go into one new version. Not sure how it should look? Ask for takes: the same changes made four ways, and you keep the one you love.
Where do the pictures come from?
From your agents, wherever you ask: in a chat in Kin, as part of a job, or anywhere in yourOS. A picture arrives as an ordinary picture, and Edit opens it in Imago. When a job asked for it, saving hands your chosen version back so the job carries on.
Which AI makes the pictures?
The same one AI service that runs all of yourOS, built in. It picks the right model for each picture for you.
When can I use Imago?
We’re building it now, into yourOS and as an app of its own for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows. Join the waitlist and you’ll get one email when it’s your turn.
