Your twin’s DNA
Said like you. Typed like you.
Cadence is how your twin keeps the way you talk and the way you type, apart. When it writes or speaks for you, it sounds like you, not like an AI. Every trait it picks up is yours to see, change, pause or delete.
I keep your typos when you want them. They’re part of how you sound.
Three layers
How you sound, how you put it, what’s true. Kept apart.
Your twin keeps three separate things about you, each with its own switch. Cadence is the middle one, your style. It never holds your facts, and it never holds your voice.
Your style tells me how to say it. Your memory tells me what to say. I never mix them up.
Voice
How you sound.
- Holds
- Your own voice: your pace, your warmth, the way you say your own name.
- Comes from
- A minute or two you read aloud, once you confirm it’s your own voice.
- Used by
- Your twin’s calls
Style
How you put things.
- Holds
- Your spoken and written habits: openers, pauses, phrases, shorthand, sign-offs, humour.
- Comes from
- Only what you said or wrote, from the sources you switch on.
- Used by
- Your twin, Fold, Kin and Roxy’s drafts
Memory
What’s true for you.
- Holds
- Facts: your work, your people, your plans, what you’ve agreed to.
- Comes from
- Your Mind, from the notes, files and conversations you choose.
- Used by
- Mind, and every agent
Could you do 40 mugs for us by the 18th? Same as last time.
Cheers Leo — 40 by the 18th in the sage, same as last time. Can I confirm Friday?
Said and typed
What you say and what you type, mapped apart.
The way you talk isn’t the way you type, so Cadence keeps two maps. And it keeps every step of a message: what you first typed, what you fixed, what you said instead and what you finally sent. Each mode starts from a different step.
When you speak
- Pace
- Quick. Slows right down for numbers.
- Pauses
- A long one before a no.
- Tone
- Dry at work, warmer with family.
- Openers
- “Right, so…”
- Humour
- Self-deprecating, rarely sarcastic.
- Unsure
- “I reckon”, never “definitely”.
- Habits
- Repeats the key number back.
From calls, voice notes and dictation you switch on
When you type
- Shorthand
- cn, thurs, tmrw
- Spelling
- “teh”, “recieve”. You fix them before sending.
- Punctuation
- Dashes, no semicolons.
- Case
- lower case when it’s quick
- Sign-off
- “Cheers, A” at work. “x” for family.
- Length
- Two lines, rarely three.
- Emoji
- None. Ever.

Modes
Pick how it sounds for you.
When your twin writes or speaks for you, you choose the mode. Every mode keeps what makes it recognisably you, and every message waits for your yes.
Polished. Your words and rhythm, with the spelling and punctuation fixed. Like the version you’d send.
I hope this message finds you well! I’d be absolutely delighted to assist with your order.
Could you do 40 mugs for us by the 18th? Same as last time.
Hi Leo — 40 by the 18th is tight but doable, if the sage glaze works for you. Can I confirm on Friday? Cheers, Alex
Sent with a line that says your twin, an AI, wrote it for Alex
Your traits
Every trait, open to you.
Everything Cadence has picked up is listed here in plain words, with how sure it is, where it came from, when it last saw it and what changed. Confirm it, correct it, pause it or make it forget.

Keeps up
It keeps up as you change.
Your style changes, so Cadence changes with it, one version at a time. Every version is kept, and you can go back to any of them. When it isn’t sure you’d say something, it asks rather than guessing.

Safeguards
Your style, on your side.
How you talk is personal, so Cadence is built to be taken back. Six rules keep it yours, and four things it never does, whatever the mode.
- 1Off until you say yesCadence starts with nothing. It notices only after you switch it on, and you can switch it off again any time.
- 2You choose every sourceTyping, dictation, calls, voice notes, Fold, Kin: each has its own switch. Only your words count, never the other people in the thread.
- 3Kept on your own serverYour style lives on your own private server with the rest of your yourOS, and is never used to train shared models.
- 4Always says it’s an AIEvery message carries a line that your twin wrote it. Every call opens by saying it’s an AI calling for you.
- 5Nothing leaves without youAnything going to another person waits for your yes, until you choose people it may answer on its own.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
The short answers to what people ask us most.
What is Cadence?
Cadence is how your twin keeps the way you talk and the way you type, as two separate maps. When your twin writes or speaks for you, it uses them, so it sounds like you rather than like an AI. It’s coming soon to yourOS.
What’s the difference between my voice, my style and my memory?
Your voice is how you sound, the voice your twin uses on calls. Your style is how you put things: your phrases, pace, pauses and habits. Your memory is what’s true for you. All three are kept apart, each with its own switch.
Will people know a message came from my twin?
Yes. Every message your twin writes for you carries a line saying your twin, an AI, wrote it, and every call opens by saying so. Nothing goes to another person until you say yes.
Can it keep my typos?
Only if you want it to. Natural writes the way you first type, shorthand and all. Polished, Spoken and Professional start from what you actually sent or said.
Does it copy how other people write?
No. It only notices words you wrote or said yourself, from the sources you switch on. Other people’s messages in a thread are never part of your style.
What if it gets me wrong?
Press “Not me” and it forgets that trait straight away, in a new version you can see. If it isn’t sure you’d say something, it asks you first.
Can I take it all back?
Yes. Pause it, go back to any earlier version, export everything it has, or delete it all.
