Routines that keep going
A missed run is retried once, repeated misses pause the routine, and every failure says why.
What’s new
Each run now happens once. If one fails it’s tried again after half an hour; three misses in a row pause the routine so it can’t fail quietly for weeks. The last eight runs are always there, with a plain reason for any failure and Try again now.
Why it matters
Something that runs on its own has to be honest when it doesn’t.
